Katy Perry's Dad Still Keeps In Touch With Russell Brand!

Awk-ward!

Katy Perry's dad Keith Hudson still keeps in touch with Katy's ex-husband Russell Brand!

That's weird, considering we're pretty sure that even Katy and Russell don't even talk to each other.

Keith admitted:

"There are no hard feelings towards Russell — I just received a text from him the other day in fact. He is a wonderful and smart guy.

Her career got really busy and she did not get to see that much of Russell — it was just one of those things."

Not sure how Katy feels about her dad talking to her ex, but we have a feeling she wouldn't be that happy about it.

What we really want to know is what do they talk about?? Juicy Katy gossip??

Katy Perry Shows Some Luv To Daughters Of Slain Hero Cop

Okay so get this…

Peter Figoski was a veteran cop who got shot in the cheek and died in a mission to catch a career criminal. YIKES!!

Now here comes the really sad part… he left behind two perezcious teen daughters. AWWW WHERE IS OUR KLEENEX??

To help them as best as he can, movie producer Harvey Weinstein brought them out to Hollywood where they enjoyed makeovers and seats at the Oscars!!

And when they ate at the Soho House pre-game time, Katy Perry saw them and couldn't resist but run up and give them a BIG hug!!

WTG, KP!!! WTG!!! We're so happy someone so real and empathetic is such a huge star!!
