Nick Lachey Says He Plans To Name His Baby…..

The exciting news that Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo are expecting a visit from the baby fairy broke yesterday — and the papa-to-be can not stop blabbing about it.

The 98 Degreeser has already breached the daddy code by telling the public what he plants to name his 12-week-old fetus. That's a daddy DON'T — but we don't mind!

While visiting the set of Live! with Kelly, Nick told host Kelly Ripa:

"If it's a girl, I think it might be Sophia. If it's a boy, I'm not sure."

Howeves, he admits that Colin John Lachey has always been his favorite name. Nick tested it out saying:

"Call him C.J. for short. C.J. Lachey."

Lovely names, we just hope he discussed them with Vanessa first! LOL!

Vanessa Minnillo Is Sperminated! Nick Lachey Announces Pregnancy Live On Air

Happy times for the Lacheys!!

Nick Lachey just announced on Live! With Kelly that he and wife Vanessa Minnillo are expecting their first child together.

Nick said on air:

"She started to feel a little different, not herself so she went to the store, got a pregnancy test, and it came back positive. So we are having a baby!

I've had a chance to do a lot of great things in my career and my life but this is the one thing that, more than any other, I look forward to. The fact that it's actually here, it's overwhelming."

The couple doesn't know the sex of the baby yet, but Nick told Kelly Ripa:

"I can't take the knowledge that someone out there knows, but I don't know. It's like watching a sports game on TiVo."

Vanessa is about 12 weeks along and is due sometime in the summer/early fall.

Wonderful news! We bet Nick and Vanessa are ecstatic right now!

Can't wait to meet the little Lachey!

While Kelly Ripa's in Hawaii filming Live with Kelly!, she and and hubby Mark Consuelos decided to take advantage of the tropical sun and hit the beaches of Oahu for some fun.

The hawt couple also brought their boys Michael, 14, and Joaquin, 9, along for the ride.

Their 10-year-old daughter Lola seemed to be missing from the group though.

Aw, we bet she's sad she's missing out!

We know we'd be! Especially in beautiful Hawaii - AND with Kelly's hot hubby Mark! HA!
